Don’t ever hesitate to read this page on German Education.. :)
There are more than 300 universities and about 220 Universities of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschulen) listed in the official web-sites. Unfortunately most of the information materials are available in German language. While a few universities offer programs taught in English - in particular executive programs in selected business studies and research fields in science - the vast majority of other programs usually are taught in German language.
Admission Information: Getting admitted to German state universities is a strategic process. Most programs and courses are restricted regarding the numbers of students and almost one entry per year. Online brochures on Universities and higher education are available in DAAD website (German Academic Exchange Service).
